1. Something Fun: The Adventure Challenge

The Adventure Challenge is an exciting way for families to connect!

When a family member told me about this book, I knew it’d be a hit! It has 50 family activities that you scratch to reveal when you’re ready for an adventure.

With various categories and time requirements, the adventures are created for connection and laughter. Snap a picture of the fun memory and the book becomes a keepsake journal.

2. A Little Lesson: A Lesson about Not Judging Others for Kids

I’m hoping to raise kind, compassionate kids. This simple lesson about not judging others for kids can be one piece of helping our children learn these important characteristics.

Before story time, switch the dust cover jackets of two or more books. Let your child choose which book to read. When you open the book to a surprise story, have a quick conversation about how sometimes things are not how they look on the outside, especially people.

We can learn to not judge others by appearance.

3. A Service Idea: Write Santa Letters for a Cause

Writing letters to Santa is fun, and Macy’s has teamed up with Make-A-Wish to also make it a service activity for kids!

Write a letter to Santa and submit it online or drop it in a big red mailbox at a Macy’s store. For every letter, Macy’s will donate a dollar to Make-A-Wish (up to $1 million), which helps kids fighting critical illnesses have a wish come true.

My daughter learned about this service opportunity and was so excited to share it with all of you! Isn’t it a great idea?!

4. Something Random: Real Christmas Wishes

5. A Quick Tip: Fulfillment

I believe we are each worthy of a fulfilling life. Sometimes though, we’re just not feeling that fulfillment.

And sometimes we might need to do more of something different.

If you are feeling unfulfilled in motherhood or parenting right now, there is nothing wrong with you. It’s also helpful to remember that just because that’s how things feel right now, it doesn’t mean it has to stay that way.
