As you might guess, I am super excited about this. I wish I had these fun and creative ideas all in one place like this when I was doing preschool with my first four Littles. In fact, I can’t wait to do it with my next one! Yay! But, today is actually about you. I thought I’d share what A to Z and Beyond! is all about and how I think it could help you.
The Home Preschool Experience
I created the bulk of this preschool curriculum as I went through home preschool with my own Littles. I wanted my kids to be home with me, enjoying each other and these fleeing years, but I also wanted the benefits of a preschool experience. So, I utilized my skills gained through a degree in education, years of teaching or tutoring, and raising five kids to build a creative, fun curriculum that prepares kids for kindergarten and life.
Preschool can be such an amazing opportunity to teach our kids (and whatever buddies are with us) the things that really matter, laugh together, and shower them with love at this young and important age. However, I know that it can also be hard to come up with ideas, prepare the lessons, and be consistent about it all. It is my hope that A to Z and Beyond! helps simplify the process for you.
Whether preschool is in a group or just you and one child, these lessons are flexible and enjoyable. My purpose in sharing this curriculum is to make your preschool time easier, educational, and fun.

Letter of the Day Activities and So Much More
These lessons and activities are EDUCATIONAL.
They will help your child feel confident and ready academically to enter kindergarten. For example, some of the topics included are:

- 1.) Preparation Checklist: What you need to gather, print (including page numbers), and prepare before preschool. The checklist also contains a link to a blog post with more explanation, pictures, links to books and supplies, etc. that some find helpful.

1.) 300 pages sounds like a lot! Will this be overwhelming if I’m new to home preschool?
Nope! The lessons are organized in a consistent structure. So, you can just check the Table of Contents for which letter you want, scroll, and you are there!
2.) How long is each alphabet preschool lesson?
Many activities are flexible, so they can fit in whatever time you have. However, most preschools are about two to three hours, so that is the general time frame for the material.
4.) Is this helpful if I teach preschool?
Absolutely! Although some activities assume a home setting (like using a stove), the lessons and printables on the whole are well-suited for classroom preschools also.
5.) Is this preschool curriculum the same as your preschool posts on Lovin’ Life with Littles?
I love that you know about those! The lesson outlines are very similar. In fact, I link to each post so you can see us going through the lessons with you if you want! 6.) Do these lessons work for preschool groups and one-on-one?
Definitely. We have done preschool groups and loved it. Preschool groups provide great social interaction for our kids and allow us to still be really involved in the experience. Let me know if you want ideas for how to get a group started. We have also done preschool one-on-one. Both scenarios have different benefits, but A to Z and Beyond! works well in both cases.
7.) If we are in a preschool group, does everyone need to buy their own copy of this preschool curriculum?
You are welcome to do the activities with your preschool group or classroom and make individual copies of printables for your kids. However, the full curriculum is designed for access by one family or household. Please do not copy or share the curriculum with others. At less than a dollar per lesson, it’s a steal of a deal already. đŸ˜‰
8.) Can’t I find preschool materials for free online? Why pay for this?
Yes, you can find tons of amazing ideas online! I have done a lot of that searching over the years myself. In fact, we have a lot of free preschool content here on Lovin’ Life with Littles. However, A to Z and Beyond! is ideal for those who would like less hassle, to save time, to be more consistent, and to have an assured variety of activities that prepares kids well for future learning, as well as being fun.
9.) Will I need to buy a lot of supplies to do these lessons?
No. The majority of supplies are common to households. If you don’t have them on hand, you can purchase most at a low price from a dollar store or on Amazon. I provide a lot of links to find supplies within the related post for each lesson. Of course, you can purchase recommended books if you want to add them to your personal library. However, many books are also probably at your local library or in a read-aloud version online. No worries, I am a budget-friendly mama!
10.) Can I use these for Letter of the Week?
The lesson outlines are organized for one day. However, you can stretch out or split up many of the activities if you prefer a different schedule. Additionally, you can use the Bonus Activities and Printables to extend lessons over more days.
